About This
- Oxy-gone actually neutralizes existing rust by changing the chemical composition of rust to an inert protective barrier coating to stop future rusting.
- While other treatments can only prepare a clean surface for painting, Oxy-Gone transforms a rusty, scaly surface into an inert paintable surface in just one step
- A balance of phosphoric acid, dichromate, wetting agents and extenders for dissolving rust or preparing rusty metal surfaces for painting.
- Use a wire brush or wire wheel to remove loose paint, rust scales, dirt, oil, and anything else accumulated on the surface. After doing this, apply a coat of Oxy-Gone and let it dry (overnight)
